Devin Prater :blind:More news on my trying to get the OnePlus issues fixed. At least the fingerprint sensor issue, that's a big one for me. So I found an email, support@oneplus.com. I emailed them about the issue, including links to Android developer accessibility stuff per my usual method of contacting developers. But I got a customer service™ representative instead. They wanted me to reset my phone, then when I told them my phone was only a few days old, they wanted to return or replace the phone. So I tried to tell them it was an issue with Oxygen OS, the software, I've not gotten a reply yet.So, today, I'm going to try to log into my OnePlus account using AIRA, since they have a capcha without an audio version. I'll see if posting to the community helps any better. Ownoh<a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/OxygenOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#OxygenOS</a> just put a global search bar on your updated OnePlus phone. Take it off in your settings like this:Settings....Swipe down on Home Screen..... deactivate Show Search in the Lower Part of your Home Screen.Seems overly nosy and privacy settings point to some company in Singapore.Not good.
