Just done a little tinkering and things should now be a lot faster on the instance; in short, streaming should now work correctly. A restart of TweeseCake (if that's the client your using) should help.

After a number of issues with reverse proxies, ssl and what ever the gremlins could throw at me, we seem to be at a stable state. Please let us know if there are any oddities. Sorry all for any inconveniences and enjoy your 3K char limit!

Well, that didn't go exactly to plan, but we are back at least. We're a bit patched up at the moment so might be a bit slower than normal while I get things settled. Also, the queues will have some catching up to do. But the good news, we are now on the glitch fork of Mastodon, with a 3K char limit.

We're back in realtime. Sorry for any inconveniences caused. This was due to a configuration error on our end, but everything is resolved.

Hello all,
We'll be performing server maintenance and software updates that might briefly impact performance with 1-2 short outages, each lasting no more than 30
seconds. We'll notify you once it's done. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
Thank you.

Hello, Cake Enthusiasts! It appears that we experienced a cake-tastic surge in traffic during today's Apple event, causing our system to handle more activity than usual. We've made some adjustments on the backend, and it looks like we're now back on track, processing in real-time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
