#FullMoonArt for this month is a cross stitch of my favorite tarot card, the Hermit.

Credit goes to the Pixel Tarot deck, by SENGIA, for the design. I added a few touches, like Pamela Coleman-Smith’s signature sigil, to make it look more like the original card.

Finished! The shawl inspired by the old churchyard in Stirling is done. No posh yarn in this one but lots of surface work. Ended up more cosplay than everyday! Thinking abstract gravestones, lichen, dying leaves, rowan berries, hips, bindweed, spiders' webs and snail shells. One for next Halloween! As ever, no pattern.

this was my first experiment to use up tiny fabric scraps. i stuck the pieces together with water soluble fabric glue then sewed a grid over the fabric to secure, before washing off the glue. it’s since survived several wears and washes!

the process was tedious but on the upside it didn’t require a base fabric to sew on to. i would like to try other methods in future, could a flour paste replace the synthetic glue?

Pictures don't really show that I could have done a better job on this one, but happy enough. I found it surprisingly difficult to start another robin after making one for a now dearly missed friend. Figured that if I didn't make one now, I would never make one again. So... one robin.

i was recently reminded of this project thanks to another user making her own version.

back in 2022 i was given a bundle of unwanted baby pink yarn. the pink was so sweet and delicate it prompted ironic feelings in me, as a stark contrast to the harshness of life—the suffering, injustices, illnesses, mortality.

i was inspired to create this dress with a crochet bodice + filet crochet lettering, curtains for sleeves, and fabric i’d kept for decades for the skirt.

#FullMoonArt this month is a crochet rug I designed myself as a visual aid for the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

I've been using my own druidic version of the LBRP for years as a basic ritual action that gets me in the mindset to do anything magick. I had been using just a generic circular rug, which has always helped me sorta lay out where my circle is, and I wanted something tailored to my own practice.

C is for… #Coin 💚
When I was so small, my neighbor gave me a half dollar she had drilled a hole through. I wore it on a string around my neck until one day the string broke & the coin was lost. I have been obsessed with coins with holes in them ever since. Flash forward to today: I finally finished this coin-focused embroidery hoop!
