i want to digitize some old #analog cassette tapes with my m1 macbook pro. I tried plugging the cassette player's aux cable into the laptop's headphone jack, but it wont detect the signal.
i don't know much about #mac or #audio #music recording. is there anyone out there who can explain what i'm doing wrong or point me to the adapter I need? : preferably not amazon

Happy 5th Saturday everyone. It was 79° here yesterday and due to be the same today. Yesterday I cleaned the ponds up a bit and it appears that all of my fish survived the winter. They usually do but I’m always pleased to see them. Any day now the toads will emerge from their winter slumber and begin singing to their lady friends. Their song will split your skull in two so I’m going to enjoy these peaceful warm days before the cacophony begins. #coffee

Have chatted with Arianna who had to leave for a medical appointment, with Dragon-in-Law Eva who is buzzing around in the kitchen, and spent a good amount of time online, but almost forgot to do my morning Toot / Post.
