coincidentally, just saw the #CanadaDay episode of Phineas and Ferb. cannot believe the animators recreated the closing scene of Ocean’s Eleven but instead of a fountain, the agents gaze at the Niagara Falls. the details in this show are sometimes amazing.

This #CanadaDay, PMJT delivered remarks to highlight the 100th anniversary of the Newfoundland National War Memorial, as well as the interment of the remains of an unknown Newfoundland First World War soldier.

Canadian media claimed PMJT was a coward & hiding in NL. away from #Ottawa with his small group of supporters as "this would be his last Canada Day as PM". Nowhere does it state there is an obligation to be in Ottawa every July 1 - it's #Canada Day, not Ottawa day.

I think OC Transpo could have done a much better job to accommodate the out of town visitors on Canada Day. At the very least, certain lines should have had more frequent buses or double deckers. Every bus I was on was packed like sardines and a lot of the visitors were confused and not sure where to go.

Per usual, we spent our Canada Day weekend in the US where is quieter. We'll be in Canada for Independence Day weekend for the same reason, weather permitting.
