Once the target clicks the meeting link provided by the scammers, it prompts them to run a script that quietly installs malware on macOS systems.</p><p>Below is the full story:</p><p><a href="https://krebsonsecurity.com/2024/02/calendar-meeting-links-used-to-spread-mac-malware/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">krebsonsecurity.com/2024/02/ca</span><span class="invisible">lendar-meeting-links-used-to-spread-mac-malware/</span></a>? </p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/cybersecurity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cybersecurity</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/infosec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>infosec</span></a></p>

Magnus Hedemark<p>I would also call out <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Calendly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Calendly</span></a> as being a star player in my tool kit. This tool makes it so easy for me to book some time with a lead or a client. And it integrates with my other tools so I can click a button in Gmail or drop a calendar link in a Slack chat. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/startup" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>startup</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/llc" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>llc</span></a></p>
